Meet Dr. Aldredge
Dr. Wayne A. Aldredge is honored to serve patients from his community, from across the state, even from out of state at his advanced periodontal and implant practice in Holmdel, N.J. His goal is to “Save teeth when possible, and replace them with secure dental implants when necessary.” His success is evident in the high number of people referred to him by word-of-mouth from family, friends and associates. He recently celebrated his 30th year in dental practice.
Dr. Aldredge is certified by the American Academy of Periodontology in both periodontics and dental implant surgery.
He is devoted to the treatment of periodontal disease including regrowing gum and bone tissue. He has placed hundreds of dental implants and has lectured and written about advances in treatment and technology.
He is equally dedicated to the comfort and well-being of his patients based on personal experience: his parents were afraid to go to the dentist.
“My parents told us about their childhood dental visits which were bad enough to make them avoid dentists, which unfortunately led to health problems as adults. They were determined to make sure that my brothers and I stayed healthy with regular care.”
Influenced by his parents’ stories, Dr. Aldredge has designed his practice to ensure everyone is comfortable from the moment they walk in the door.
Dr. Aldredge has been repeatedly recognized by his peers for his leadership in the field of periodontology. He served as president of the American Academy of Periodontology, the largest professional association of periodontists in the world. Previously he was president of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and New Jersey Society of Periodontists. He has been named one of New Jersey’s Top Dentists.
Dr. Aldredge helped developed and write the professional guidelines for treating patients with periodontal disease. This paper was distributed to every dentist in the United States.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration (Dental Implants) American Board of Periodontists and a fellow of both the prestigious American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
